The Cessna 180 is used as Crop Jet's pickup truck. It is fitted with 29" Alaskan bushwheels, a Horton STOL kit and a six place interior with extended baggage. In row crop it is perfect for checking irrigation patterns and spray jobs on our local pivots. For rangeland work we can perform aerial surveys of future spray blocks to see any hazards ahead of time. Where it shines the most is in the wildland rehabilitation arena. We can use it to do aerial site inspections before bidding a job as well as scouting potential roads or airstrips that can be used for a job. While performing on a contract it can be used for crew changes, remote area Medi-Vac flights in the event of an accident or for parts runs when needed.
